A truly special and one of a kind 996.2 C4S Safari build. This car started off as a 2004 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S and was built by Porsche of Owings Mill, MD for the 2024 Porsche Restoration competition, where it high up in its category.
The car is fantastic factory build for a 996 with the following options from new:
-6 speed manual
-Midnight Blue Metallic
-Black full leather interior
-Heated front seats with lumbar support
-Bose sound
-Rear wiper
-Self-dimming mirrors and rain sensing wipers
-Xenon headlights
-Aerokit
-Sport exhaust
The car was modified by Porsche of Owings Mill for the Restoration project. They modified the suspension using Bilstein coilovers that were modified to allow for additional travel, along with Elephant racing 996 GT3 adjustable suspension components to allow for proper suspension geometry. A Safari-style roof rack was added along with KC lights and OEM Porsche branded skis. The interior was modified with Pepita houndstooth seat centers, OEM PCCM+ with Apple CarPlay and a wooden Carrera GT style shift knob.
The IMS/RMS were also done along with seals for the front differential, OEM light switch, new driver's side window regulator and a new battery. The car was also paint corrected with ceramic coating added along with full front 8mm PPF to protect the car.
This vehicle is sold “as-is” with no warranty, written or implied. In some cases, the vehicle does have the remaining factory warranty still in place and will be described above if that is the case.

Note: For out-of-state buyers, Pennsylvania does offer a temporary 60 day in-transit tags/registration. A drivers license and proof of insurance are necessary to be issued. They are issued in-house at Bay 22 and the cost is $99.
